We stopped here to ask directions.
It’s a pleasant little market serving the little village nearby.
We got to talking with the very friendly owners who were outside taking it easy.
They invited us to a dance that evening at the Menauhant Yacht Club.
They suggested that we might want to buy a home ourselves
in this seaside summer colony before all the lots are snapped up
by Bostonians and New Yorkers. We decided not to mention
that we did not own a yacht.
Fondly,
Edith
