Dear Carol,
I haven’t seen you in a year.
Your vacation will be filled with fun!
I can’t wait for two weeks when you’ll be here.
You’ll love our Falmouth house in the sun.
Hydrangeas are blooming in lavender blue,
and foxgloves in the garden are bright pink.
Mr. Walsh’s rambling roses are many-hued.
We can arrange bouquets with Mom, I think.
Everyday we’ll eat ice cream cones—one each.
Love from your favorite cousin,
